Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish musician, singer and songwriter. Corr together her fellow members Caroline Sharon and Jim, first made their appearance in the role of The Corrs' lead singer in 1990. Andrea Corr (born Andrea Corr) is an Irish singer, musician and songwriter. She received the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award. She is most well-known for being a member of The Corrs, a Celtic pop and rock band The Corrs. She sings as well as plays various instruments for the group. Andrea debuted as an actor as early as 1991. Since then, Andrea has developed into a gifted musician and stage performer. She was an actor in the playback of 1998 Warner Bros. animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea is truly a multi-faceted musician. She has six studio albums two compilation albums, two live albums, as well as one mix. Her charitable efforts have also been recognized. Andrea along with her husband, a stockbroker, have two kids. Andrea started her musical lessons using the Tin-whistle. Gerry helped Andrea learn to play the piano. Andrea also plays the ukulele. She spent most of her teenage life honing and perfecting her singing skills. The first time she began to practice was with her brothers and sisters, and then became the lead singer in the group. Andrea attended 'Dun Lughaidh Convent as a child and frequently participated in school plays.
